Virginia

Hey all! I want to start off by saying that I can't post any pics right now b/c I have no way to upload them (I am not on my computer!). Now...for the fun info! After being delayed at DFW for about 2 hours, we finally got to fly on out here to VA. My wonderful husband got me to the airport and checked in. My wonderful father met us there with a carseat for Thomas (we didn't want to take ours out of our car!) and to help me get past security. I am so grateful he was there. It sure made things easier. Then we sat of course b/c of the delay. We finally took off at 4pm and landed around 7:30pm (EST). Thomas did AWESOME on the plane. He slept most of the trip and probably would have slept the entire time if it wasn't for his mommy needing to get up! After that he just sat in my lap and watched everything. Praise God he did awesome. When we got to Norfolk, we got a baggage carrier guy and got our luggage and car and by 8:30, we were on our way to Va Beach to see Brandy and feed the boy some dinner. Then up to Yorktown to see the Tosten's (where we have been staying). Friday I spent the entire afternoon and evening with Em and Eric. What a BLAST! I FINALLY got to meet Miss Morgan (there baby girl). She is 3 months old and SO tiny! But what a pretty baby girl! Today I hung out with my friend Katie that I used to work with at CHKD. It was fun. We went up to Colonial Williamsburg to go to the shops. I got to go to the little kids shop Carousel and got Thomas 2 outfits. We also went into the toy store and of course Thomas found yet another (don't be too surprised now) duck! (SHOCK, I know!) This one is a cute little pirate duck. Like he needed yet another duck, but hey...he was excited! Then we came back up to the Tosten's for dinner. Karen made me homemade fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and of course, apple pie (YUM!). It was wonderful! Tomorrow we are going to be "moving" down to Virginia Beach to stay with Brandy for the night. Tomorrow we are going to church in the morning, lunch with Ben and Katie after church, probably to Bill and Mary's in the afternoon (they were our SS teachers when we lived up here), and who knows what else. (Poor Thomas is SOO off schedule!) Monday all I know I am going to do is let Brandy cut my hair. I am sure we will do some other stuff, but that is the plan!! Anyway...Just thought I would update you on what has been happening here. And, lastly, I will say...I love being here in VA, but I can't wait to go home and see my wonderful husband...I miss you Bri!! Good night for now!
