RSV

Doing a breathing treatment. What a big boy to sit there all by himself!

After a breathing treatment. He was sitting in "Gram's chair" and just couldn't take anymore!

Well, it made it to us this year. Yesterday Thomas came to my office to see the nurse practioner. After 3 breathing treatments and a deep suction, he was diagnosed with RSV. Now we are doing several (5 to be exact) breathing treatments a day and watching him closely. He is having a pretty hard time. He is coughing and wheezing alot and WOW! he has a runny nose, but I guess that is just all a part of it. I can tell he isn't feeling well because today he was walking around with a paci in his mouth, one in his hand, and his lovie in the other hand. He is also more clingy than normal, but I sure have enjoyed his snuggles! Being diagnosed with RSV is a first. Although I suspect he has maybe had it before, he has never been actually diagnosed with it! Guess that is one of the hazards of your mommy working at a pulmonologist's office! So, please pray for my sweet little boy when you get a chance.
