Okay, so I still haven't figured out the whole picture thing. I am going to try to use my mom's computer this weekend to add some. However, dispite the no pics, I thought maybe I could still post (I just have to use words instead of pictures!). So, yesterday was Valentine's Day. As I was in the process of boycotting it yesterday at work (not in a rude, bitter way but instead in the "its just another day" way), a friend at work reminded me that it Valentine's day was for the someone special in your life. Well, the someone special in my life is Thomas. So, I decided I would spend some "special" time with Thomas last night. However, when I got home, I walked in the door to a cranky little boy. He apparently did not nap well yesterday at Mother's Day Out. So, instead of being the usual super sweet boy, he was cranky and most any little thing would set him into a fit! So, I fed him dinner and then (since he ate all his dinner) I gave him some grapes. Towards the end of grape eating, another little fit started b/c he didn't want the "baby" grapes (you know the little ones that come in every bunch). For some reason he doesn't like the little one (he doesn't like blueberries either!). So, he started to cry b/c he didn't want them and of course I didn't push them on him. But he just kept crying...and I was tired of it! So, I took him to put on his 'jammies, which led to more tears (and "No bed" - imagine the word bed being said with at least 2 syllables!). I told him he didn't have to go straight to bed, but that I did want him to come snuggle with me. So, Thomas and I sat for the better part of an hour snuggling! Ahhh...there is my sweet baby (well more like little) boy. He was so tired that he just sat there until he fell asleep in my lap! He never does that anymore! What a special Valentine's treat for mommy!!
Thomas did also make me a Valentine (with the help of my mom). At the school my mom teaches at, they did a Valentine's Day party. Apparently all the kids made their parents a flower pot (you know the kind where you color the paper and then put it in). Well, the room mom's were nice enough to send the one extra home so Thomas could make me one! How sweet! So, now I have a plant from Thomas in a pot that he colored. Of course it is too cute (I would normally post a picture here, but hmmm......) What a sweet boy I have!!
