I loved the Castle at night with all the lights on it!
At the beginning of December, Thomas and I got to go to Disney World for a few days. Thomas' grandparents take all of their grand kids to Disney the Christmas after their 3rd birthday. This was Thomas' year...and boy did he have fun!! It was my first time to go also and I had a blast. Friday Morning we got up and headed over to the Contemporary Hotel to have breakfast with Chef Mickey.
(The Contemporary at night)
It was so much fun. We were able to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto all in one sitting...not to mention that the food was pretty good! Then we headed over to Epcot to ride the Nemo ride. We also saw the show "Turtle Talk with Crush". It was very cute. While at Epcot, Thomas was able to meet Daisy Duck and Stitch. I don't have alot of pictures from that day because it was POURING rain the entire day (and I forgot the battery for my camera)!! Friday night we went to the Very Merry Christmas Party (in the rain).
We were able to see the parade and some of the fireworks.
However, the best part of it was that due to the rain, the lines were almost nonexistent. We were able to walk up to almost every ride we wanted to ride. Thomas' favorite ride of the night was the race cars. He rode them twice....once with J-pa and once with Nana. While they pushed the pedal, Thomas steered. They said he would laugh every time he hit the guide in the middle and that by the end he was laughing so hard he almost couldn't steer! My favorite ride of the night was the Teacups. What says Disney more than that!?

Saturday Jimmy had a candy show to go to, so after sleeping in and taking a slow morning, Carolyn and I headed to Hollywood Studios. On our way there, we stopped at the Floridian Hotel to see the Gingerbread house.
The gingerbread house was neat. Each window was decorated with a Disney character.
Then we got to Hollywood Studios (formerly MGM)
in front of the Christmas tree at Hollywood Studios
we went to wait in line for Toy Story Mania. This was the longest line we stood in the entire time we were there. We waited for an hour and a half, but it was so worth the wait!

Thomas intently watching Mr. Potatoe Head
This was probably my hands down favorite ride! I think Thomas may have enjoyed the ride too!!! After riding the ride, we were able to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody.
Then we stopped to watch a little bit of the parade that had there...we saw Woody and Jessie,
Sully and Mike, and Flick and Princess Ada (from a distance). We did get to meet Leo and June from Little Einsteins and get their autographs.
We kept trying to catch Handy Manny, but were never able to. :( Finally, we were able to go have our picture taken with Lightening MacQueen and Mater.
He was so excited to meet them until it was our turn....then he decided that were too loud!! While waiting for the bus back to Magic Kingdom to catch the Light Parade, Thomas fell asleep. He of course woke up when we got there, so we rode the steam engine over to Toon town so we could see Mickey's house. We "toured" his house
and then went to have our picture taken with Mickey and Minnie.
Then we rode the Barnstormer roller coaster. Thomas was so excited to ride it when we were waiting in line, but not so excited when it "went fast"!
Guess he is my boy...he doesn't like roller coasters either! Then Jimmy took Thomas to ride the steam engine again while Carolyn and I went to shop some. We met back up again for the Light parade and fireworks. .JPG)
Thomas' new favorites - Chip and Dale
Thomas enjoyed the parade and the fireworks,
but his favorite part of the evening was riding the steam engine that went around the Magic Kingdom!
Thomas' favorite "ride" at Disney World.
Each park had its own decorated Christmas tree.
Sunday we got up and headed to Animal Kingdom.
We wanted to take the Kilimanjaro Safari. It was neat to see all the animals they had out there. Thomas was more interested in the areas that had water to drive through, although he did like seeing the elephants!
We then rode the train from "Africa" to "Rafiki's Island" and back. He loved just riding the train.
Hut made in Indonesia and then placed at Animal Kingdom.
While at Animal Kingdom, we bought Thomas a hat with pins on it so he could participate in pin trading. We traded for a monorail pin (which we later fond out had a hidden Mickey on it making it even more special). Then we headed back to the hotel so Thomas could get a good nap before we headed back to the Very Merry Christmas Party again.
We bought a second set of tickets for the party again on Sunday night since it rained so much on Friday. And boy am I glad we did that! It was so worth it!

Thomas was so excited waiting for the parade!
The parade was GREAT with all the princesses in their horse drawn carriages!
Cinderella and Prince Charming
Sleeping Beauty and her Prince
Minne and her prince!! :)
Santa's almost here!
Santa even pointed at Thomas and said "I've heard you've been a good boy!"
Santa talking to Thomas
Thomas was so excited! On our way out, Thomas was able to go sit on Santa's lap. He was so quick to tell him that he wanted "Toby's Windmill" and his "own digital camera". He was so cute talking to Santa.
That was the end of my Disney trip, but Thomas was able to stay for 2 more days and was able to see the Light Parade again and go to the Very Merry Christmas Party once more. We are so grateful to J-pa and Nana for this opportunity to go to Disney World and can't wait to go again!
