A few of my favorite pics from this past school year. Enjoy and try not to pass out from the shock of a post from me! :)
November 2013 - Amy and I ran a 5K race "together" for the first time. I started running again b/c Amy did... and if she can do it, I know I can!
Amy and Paul were able to visit at Thanksgiving this year. I love this picture of the cousins together!
My good friend Kamesh and his family bought me this beautiful Sari in India. I finally had the chance to wear it at Indian Thanksgiving this year. I can't wait to wear it again this summer at Kamesh's wedding (while I am in India!)
Jamie Leigh, Fran, and I went to the FBC Dallas Christmas program to hear Lance (JL's now husband) play the drums. It was a great show and Fran and I had fun taking pics afterwards.
The best part about my apartment is the fireplace, hands down! There were many evenings this past winter where you could find Thomas like this. We even made smores in the fireplace a few times!
What's not to like about this pic... my grandmother and my dog! Oh how I love both of them... and how they love each other.
I love this pic of me and my boy at Christmas! He is growing up to be such a handsome young man!
My grandmother with all her girls! What a great way to start the new year!
In January, Thomas and I ran the Katy Trail with these awesome people. It was the first time we ran the Katy Trail, but it hasn't been the last. It has fast become a favorite place to run!
Go Red Campaign! Such a great cause to bring awareness of heart disease to our schools and nation. This is one of the few pictures I have of me, my boy, and Enndo (the Diabetic Alert Dog I helped train).
Thomas and his buddies from school waiting to go into Medieval Times. We celebrated Thomas's birthday there and had a blast!
Love this sweet girl! God blessed me with her friendship last fall and I am sooo glad He did!
This one still makes me laugh! Here is another girl I am blessed to get to do life with!
We went to a Ranger's game already this year.. .and have another one planning later this month! Oh yeah! Thomas got glasses this year. I think they make him look even more handsome (but I might be a little biased!)
This guy.... He makes me smile! 'Nuff said!
And last, but certainly not least... I love this pic of me and Mita! I cannot wait to see her sweet face in person in July when I get to go back to India (and Nepal... you're welcome Jenny!).
