Mom and I started August in Virginia Beach to finish up planning the wedding. We (of course) stayed with my sweet friends Bill and Mary Craig (or Pop and Mom, or Popsi and Gramma Mary). We tasted cake, age with friends, enjoyed the beach, and finished getting everything in place for the wedding. It was such a fun time with my momma!
I'm not sure what the cause of this picture was, but I sure do still love pictures of my kid sleeping!
One evening Mack looked online and found cheap tickets to a Rangers game, so we ALL (Mom, Mack, Me, Thomas, Leanne, Alan, and the Peanut) went to the game! It was hot for a while, but once the sun went down it was pretty enjoyable!
Thomas finished up the track season strong and received a certificate to recognize his hard work. I cannot tell you how proud I am of this kid for persevering and finishing the track season. He was not fast on the track, but he never gave up in any of the races he competed in! Proud momma right here!
My sweet, sweet friends threw me a wedding shower! I was floored that they would even want to do this. It was such a fun time with family and a few friends celebrating our upcoming marriage.
Me and my mommas. Both of these women mean the world to me. Obviously my mom is my mom. She is one of my best friends and is always a HUGE help with Thomas. Don't know how I'd do life without her (and my dad!). For those that don't know, Nurse Judy was my friend and co-worker LOOOONG before I ever even met Mack. She has checked Thomas's ears countless times to let me know if I needed to take him to the doctor as well as been a listening ear both in life and in school nursing! I am so blessed that I get to marry her son and have her for a mother in law!
One night I was a little grumpy (ahem). My boys came back to the room to cheer me up! We ended the night in laughter and smiles! I love them!
And finally... another first day of school. My "little boy" started 5th grade! I can't believe this is our last year of elementary school! Isn't he so handsome!?!
