Here we go again!

It is time once again for the weekly (or more) update on the Hutchins. Someday I will learn to update more frequently, but for now, you will have to deal with the weekly - or so - updates. Sorry! So, it has been a good week. Brian is working REALLY long hours this week. He has to be at the office at 7:30 am and doesn't get home till shortly after 8 every night. It stinks, but he has had an ok week other than that. He has had interviews and found some kids that are interested, but nothing set in stone yet. Hopefully he will get someone in soon so these long long hours will be over!

For me...same old, same old. Tuesday and Thursday were work days, Wednesday was GROW, so I was at the church all afternoon and into the evening. Brian was able to be at GROW this week, so afterwards we went to a snowcone stand with some friends and then hung out here at our house. It was great to get to hang out with some friends. Last night Brian, Thomas, and I went over to our neighbors for dinner. It was super yummy and we had a great time. We put a for sale sign in the yard last Sunday morning, so I have spent alot of the week trying to get the house really ready for showing (just in case someone gets interested and wants to look). We are trying to do for sale by owner. We have had 3 calls on it, but nothing has panned out yet! I did learn last night though that Choice (the co. that made our house) is no longer making spec houses in the neighborhood, so hopefully that will help! An ad will hit the internet and newspaper tomorrow. We are hoping that will bring some interest in too. We will see. If we need to list it with an agent too, we will.

Thomas has had a great week. Monday we went for an ENT follow-up. The dr said that his ears looked GREAT! His hearing is normal again (no more hearing loss). PRAISE GOD! We have been ear infection free for about 2 months now! Thomas hasn't even had so much as a runny nose since he had his surgery! YAY!! After the follow up appointment, we went to my mom's school to see her and her co-workers. Thomas had fun at his Gram's school. Tuesday and Thursday were school days for him too. He always seems to have so much fun in his class. Wednesday we hung out at the house in the morning and then he went to the church with me in the afternoon/evening. I love his Wednesday and Sunday night teachers at the church. They are such sweet ladies and they love Thomas! (Not to mention that we have been there so much lately that they know us now!) Today Thomas and I are taking it easy at home, cleaning some and maybe gonna go run some errands. Tomorrow Brian has to work some. Hopefully it won't be as long as all the other days this week. Sunday will of course be church, and Mother's Day! So, my grandmother, mom and dad, and sister are all coming over that afternoon for lunch. It should be fun. Esp since it could be the last fun family get together in this house (hopefully the next one will be a moving party!). Anyway...now you are up to date. Hope all you moms have a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Here are some pics of Thomas sliding all by himself!!

We are just planning on moving out of our house and into a smaller, less expensive house. We will probably either move into Weatherford or out to Ft Worth. We got messed over with our house and so we are just making an in town move basically!

Oh how I loathe moving. My blessings and prayers to you on that adventure.

By the way, what team name did you choose to use?

No trips to Texas for the two of us in the near future. Benjamin is going to see his family after his boards next month, but that will be in Lubbock or San Antonio. We just saw my family in D.C. last month so it might be awhile before we get to go see them again. You know how it is...

Oh my goodness - that's one large kid you've got on your hands. And traversing a slide on his own? More power to you. Ella would want to dive from the top. Glad to see you guys are doing well (stressed, it seems, but well!). I'll say a prayer for you guys - with moving AND Brian's work, its gonna be a hectic summer!
