Well, the move is over (for the most part). Thomas and I are now living with my parents. Its a little crowded, but life is good! Things are going well. I apologize that I haven't posted in such a long time! Life has just been CRAZY! So, let me back up a little (like at least 3 weeks) and catch you all up! (Get a snack...its gonna be a long one!)
The first week we lived with my parents I didn't have to work, so I got to spend alot of good time with Thomas! I sure do love that little boy! He is such a good boy! We mostly stayed close to "home", but we also ran a few errands each day. We spent most of one day in Weatherford and I was able to sub at my sister-in-laws Mother's day out program one day. That was a fun day (and an easy way to earn a little money - thanks Tammy!!). Thomas had fun getting to see his Aunt Tammy that day! I cut my hair. I cute about 6-8 inches off. Short, I know!! I really like it! I made a poodle skirt for Halloween. We dressed up at the office so I had to have something to wear! My mom and I also spent some time painting overalls for the fall. A few weekends ago my mom and I took Thomas to a pumpkin patch in Flower Mound. We met my friend Alicia and her boys, Christopher and Nate, for lunch and then headed to see the "punkins" as Thomas calls them. When we got to the pumpkin patch, we met up with some other friends, Michael, Kathryn, and their son Kayden. (Be sure to notice the overalls that Kayden and Thomas are wearing in the pics!) The place was HUGE! Thomas was so excited over all the pumpkins! He kept saying "I see punkins. Lots of punkins." The place was great for pictures, but because there were so much going on, getting Thomas to look at the camera was close to impossible! We had a great time, even though it was way to hot to be Oct 20!
We were able to go on a hayride. Thomas was mostly interested in the "TRACTOR..I see a tractor!" There was a big haystack that the boys climbed. Thomas also got to play in a "pumpkin house" with my mom. She says he picked up every pumpkin in the place! After we went to the pumpkin patch, we stopped at Sonic for some cool refreshments! We got Thomas an apple juice slush (his first one). We took some pictures just to make his Aunt Amy proud! He kept saying "yummy drink" as he drank his slush. We bought a pumpkin for Thomas to bring home. We bought a big one, and he got a little one. He was so excited to put them outside. Well, actually, he was only excited to put them outside when we were leaving again to go run some errands. When we got back home, he wanted to bring both of them back into the house. Every morning we have to stop to say "hi" to the pumpkin in the front yard.
October 21, my in-laws neighborhood has a fall festival. My nieces and nephew were all there as well as my sisters-in-law and one of my brothers-in-law. Also, Mimi and Dada Shafer were there along with Mimi Hutchins. It was great to see everyone. All the kids were able to go on a hayride and "trick-or-treat" in the neighborhood. Thomas had a great time!
For Halloween Thomas and I went up to my sister in laws house so Thomas could trick or treat with his cousins. He had a great time and got alot of candy. Connor was great with Thomas. He was such a big help. He would carry Thomas' candy bag and help Thomas walk up to houses.
After one bucket full from trick or treating up there, we came back to Gram and Papa's neighborhood and went to a few houses. Thomas was so cute going up to all the doors and saying "trick or treat" and "thank you"! I can't wait till next year when he will be even more excited about it!

I like it alot and it sure keeps me busy! I work for a pediatric pulmonologist (kid's lung dr). I was hired to be a "triage" (read phone) nurse, but with the "sick season" I have been pulled out of my crowded office and back into the patient care role. I like both parts of the job and I like the people I work with.
Thomas is doing well. He is staying at Nana and JPa's house while I work. I think he loves it almost as much as they do! He talks about watching a movie in JPa's car (which is really Nana's new car) every day while we go to meet Nana (even though we really meet JPa)! What a blessing that they are willing to watch him every day! Every afternoon they meet my mom (Gram) and she brings Thomas back "home". He sure loves his time with Gram.
Every night Papa (my dad) reads Thomas a tractor book (they look at pictures of tractors). Thomas can even tell you the difference in a tractor and a gator (although I don't think I can!). He still LOVES to read! He is learning his letters now. He recognizes A, B, I, M and T. As we drive down the toll road every morning we see the big orange "T" and Thomas yells "T for Thomas!". What a smarty pants!

What a smarty pants! This past Saturday my and I went to "Neath the Wreath". It was Plano's Junior Leagues craft fair for Christmas. I got some good Christmas shopping done and Thomas was excellent. He even fell asleep in the stroller (something he hasn't done in a while!). It was alot of fun! Sunday we went to Prestonwood Baptist Church. What a nice church! It is HUGE, but man the pastor was good. I really enjoyed it. Thomas went to see his daddy this past week. Thomas had a good time and it was nice to have a little "time off". My mom and I were able to do some shopping on Sunday with my sister (Leanne). We had fun, but I was more than excited to have Thomas back on Sunday!
Today we went to the library for Toddler Story time. He loved it! They sang songs and read 2 (very short) stories. He had a blast. He even remember some of what we did tonight and told Papa about it. He didn't remember much of the story time, but he did remember that he worked puzzles before the story and got a sticker after it! It was cute to hear him tell Papa about it tonight! We also got to check out some books and movies. Oh yeah...we found out my older sister is going to be having a baby boy! Right now we all refer to him as Zaccheus (b/c he is a wee little man). The other night when we were at Babies R Us, Thomas picked out some little gowns for him that had cars on them. Thomas rode in the buggy all over the store talking (very loudly) about the "beep beeps" (b/c that is what he car says)! It was pretty cute. Its also pretty cute to hear him say Zaccheus! Won't he be confused when the baby is born and that isn't his name!
