July was a very busy month (*read, this post is really long)! I realized this as I was uploading pics of all we did. So, without further ado....
Thomas loved this green slide. He went down it over and over again!

On July 3rd we went to Kaboomtown.

I love this picture of his little feet in the sand. If you look real close you can see his sand turtle too!
These two had the best time playing at the beach. Thomas kept asking to go back the entire rest of the trip. I did such a great job keeping sunscreen on him, that I unfortunately forgot to keep it on me! So...no more sunny beach for us!! :)

Saturday we spent the day in Yorktown at William and Karen's house. We had a great day hanging out with William, Karen, and Elizabeth (we missed Katie TONS and wish she had been there too). Thomas had fun playing in the water here too!

Finally it was time to leave. Thank you so much to Emily and Eric who got me the cheap hotel room. Also, thanks to Em who helped me get all checked in at the airport with two tired kids in tow!! We had a great trip and can't wait to go back....maybe next summer! I think the beach is calling our names!! :)

My friend Joy brought her baby, Maggie, over to play. Thomas kept referring to her as his "best friend Maggie".

One evening we set up the Slip-N-Slide.

Thomas and I were able to go to Virginia for a long weekend. We were able to see LOTS of friends from when we lived there. When we got there on Thursday, we ate dinner with Emily, Eric, Morgan, and Mary. It was a sweet time of just catching up and letting Thomas and Morgan meet each other. Friday we spent the entire day at the beach with Bill (Popsie), Mary (Gramma Mary), Emily, and Morgan (who Thomas now loving refers to as "Miss Morgan"). Thomas and Morgan are now great buds and still talk about each other now!

Sunday we spent the day with Brandy, Ken, Vaughn, and Daniel. We were able to eat lunch together, let the kids swim together, and do some beach front shopping together. On the way back from the beach front it started POURING down rain! We had so much fun just catching up that I completely forgot to take the camera out and snap some pics! Darn!!!
Monday before our flight out, Thomas and I met up with Morgan and Emily again. The kids had been asking the entire time when they would get to play again, so we went to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens for some fun! Talk about great picture opportunities!

Finally...in July my Amy (my sister), Paul (my brother-in-law), and Andrew (my nephew) came to visit.
