January
* My parents and I took Thomas to the Plano Train show. Thomas had a great time as he always does when trains are involved!
* Thomas and I attended the Homestead Elem Spaghetti Dinner and Auction. Thomas won a big tub of "Rainy Day Fun" with lots of games and crafts. I won a baseball signed by Nolan Ryan! :)

February
* Thomas turned 6!!! Wow, when did my baby get so big! He had the choice of a party of a big gift. This year he chose a big gift, so he got a Kindle Fire. He loves it!!!

* Thomas went to Dumas to see his Daddy. I spent the weekend in Amarillo doing....NOTHING!!! I watched Big Bang Theory, read books, watched TV, and slept! It was wonderful! :)
* Mom, Thomas, and I drove to Valdosta Georgia to spend the week of Spring Break with my sister Amy and her family. Thomas had a BLAST playing with his cousins. You can start reading about the week here. (My sister is a much better blogger than I!)
* Thomas and I went to Leanne and Alan's St. Patrick's Day party. It was a fun time and I was able to once again dance Shoe the Donkey (that is the one dance I danced at Leanne and Alan's wedding).

April
* I went to San Antonio to help celebrate Mark and Reagan O'Mahony's wedding. I took almost 1000 pictures over the weekend!!
(The beautiful Reagan and the handsome Mark)* Thomas tested for his Warrior Purple Belt in Tae Kwon Do and did an AWESOME job!
(Thomas with Mr. Om...we have this pose from every testing!)* Thomas had his preschool choir performance. They sang songs that came from Bible verses. Our favorite was when they sang I John 4:7-8. I sang that when I was a kid and I still can't say the verse without wanting to clap!
* I ran my first 5K with my bestie Danielle! I ran it in 31:53!! I never could have done it without her!
* I ate traditional Indian food with some new (Indian) friends! LOVE IT and so ready to do it again!
And now May...
*Thomas went on his first field trip. He was most excited about getting to ride the school bus to the Ft. Worth Zoo. It was a great day and Thomas had a blast! Well, this mommy did too! :)
* I have been playing softball each Friday. I actually started playing back in April. I am on a great team (from my SS class) and we have a great time each Friday night! I love getting to play again!
* This past Saturday and Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day. Saturday night we took my grandmother to dinner at Spring Creek (the woman loves her BBQ!). Then Sunday Leanne, Alan, Me, Thomas, and Mom and Dad went to church at their church before eating a yummy lunch at Christina's. It was a great time to celebrate both mom and grandmother. Thomas gave me a new journal to keep sermon notes in. He picked the specific one he gave me b/c it has some of the Bible verses he has memorized this year (I may have to do a post all its own on that!).
* This weekend I am running in my second 5K. I am simply hoping to beat my time from the last one! Thankfully Danielle is running it with me, so that will help!
