May 1st Thomas went on his first field trip to the Ft. Worth Zoo.  I took the day off so I could go too.  Thomas was most excited about being able to ride on a school bus for the first time!  We had a great day seeing all the animals.  Thomas was most excited about seeing the giraffes and the silver back gorillas.  I don't have alot of pictures, but I did get one of him by the elephant.  I have a picture of him by this elephant from every time we have gone to the Ft. Worth Zoo.  The growth from the first time to now is crazy!  (Thomas 1 in the picture on the top and 6 in the picture on the bottom!)

On May 19 I ran in my second 5K with Danielle.  My only goal was to improve my time from the first one I ran.  I ran the first one in April in 31:53 and I ran this on in 31:09!  Danielle improved her time also...she ran this one in 29:29!  Alan also ran with us.  His time was 24:27.  I think we are done for the summer, but next fall, we will be back at it!  We are already looking for a fun race to do!

May 26 Leanne had a birthday party for Alan.  Of course we went.  At the party Leanne and Alan's friend Duane brought his pony and a horse for rides.  Thomas HAD to wear his boots since Duane had the horses there.  This time he rode the "big" horse instead of riding the pony.  I was proud of how well he did up there!  He is looking forward to riding again because Duane said he would teach him to ride by himself!

On May 30 Thomas graduated from Kindergarten.  It was a cute little program that I did very well at.  After all the kids graduated, the teachers played a slide show they had put together of all the kids.  WOW!  It was a great slide show and I don't think there was a single mom with a dry eye when it was finished!

And now we are to the end of May 2012.  June brings summer, and alot of other "cool" stuff!  Stay tuned!
