May - School is almost over and the temps are warmer!
We went on our first cub scout camp out. Thomas had a blast, and it was a nice first trip for me!
This was our set up. So glad for Mack and his eagle scout knowledge! I never would have known what to pack, how to set up the tent, or anything else!
Roasting marshmellows (until they fell off the hanger into the fire b/c he doesn't really eat them!)
The boys got to shoot different types of BB guns. And then the parents got to also! It was super fun!
Jenny and my friend Josh got married in Virginia, but had a beautiful reception in the metroplex. Jenny, Thomas, and I were able to go.
Thomas picked these yellow flowers and gave them to me! Such a gentleman! (He also tucked in his shirt and wore a belt... b/c it was Josh's reception!)
Mack took me to Theatre 3 to see Memphis. Such a great show!

A fun afternoon on the lake with my fav guy!
One weekend we planned to take Thomas to the Renaissance Faire since none of us have ever gone. However, when we exited to go, the line to get into the Faire was over an hour long. None of us wanted to sit in that, so we made a spur of the moment decision to head to Waco instead. We started at Magnolia. Its a really neat place in Waco now.
Then we headed over to Baylor to see the Baylor Bear.
Mack picked me this rose while we were there!
Then we headed to the suspension bridge.
This picture makes me laugh! Thomas with his mouth open. Sometimes you realize you are parenting right.... this was one of those time!!
Finally it was time to head back home. It was such a wonderful and fun day with my 2 favorite guys.
