Pretty, Happy, Funny, Real - June Edition

Pretty:

Sunset on lake Lewisville.  I am such a sucker for a good sunrise or sunset!

 We went camping at Devil's Den State Park in Arkansas the first weekend Thomas and I were out of school.  This is from the scenic lookout.  Isn't it beautiful!?

 Happy:

Little did I know on this camp out, Mack was planning to propose to me!  AHHH!!!  Of course I said YES (after I said "are you for real" about 10 times!)

 I'd say those are some HAPPY people!!!

Funny:

Mack found a friend at the movie theater

This picture makes me laugh.  Thomas was headed to Webelos Camp.  They wanted them to wear their Class A uniform with their swim trunks.  

Real:

Thomas ran in a track program this summer.  He did mostly distance running (800 meters or more).  It was definitely a challenge for him, but he persevered and finished the season with two 8th place ribbons and one 7th place ribbon.  He was never the last one to cross the finish line.  (Poor kid, his face turns bright red like his momma's when he runs!)

Camp WOW!  All I can say is WOW!  I love being able to serve as the nurse while Thomas learns more about how much God loves him.  (And I love that I can be there with my boy!)
