ENT visit

Ok...so don't pass out. Two posts in one day! Today we went to the ENT. First they did a hearing test on Thomas. They said that he had some minor hearing loss, but they think that it is just because he has so much fluid behind his ears. So...the short of it...Thomas is scheduled for tubes on April 6th. They are also going to take his adenoids (sp?) out on that morning. They are going to do the surgery at the North Richland Hills Pediatric Surgery Center. We don't know what time yet. They said the hospital would call me the day before the surgery and let us know. Dr. Murray (the dr we saw who was very nice!) said the surgery should only take about 30 minutes. He said that once the tubes were in, there would only be like a 10-15% chance he would get any more ear infections! YAY! Also, he said his hearing should be normal again once the fluid is gone. So, that is what we know. We will keep you posted on times and other info as we find it out. Thanks for caring and praying about our little man!
(also, for those interested, Brian's dad is going to be having a CAT scan on April 2. it is a cancer follow up thing to make sure there are no new developments. Please pray that everything is normal there too)
