Hey! We did get to go to the zoo on Saturday! The weather was BEAUTIFUL (esp. after 2 days
of nothing but rain!). We had a blast. Our friends the Mulkey's met us there. There little girl is almost 2 and was so cute! Because we were there, several of the animals were out and playing or eating. We got to see the Kimono Dragon eating something (we aren't sure what it was). We also got to see the feathers of whatever it was the white tiger ate for breakfast! (There were only feathers left!). The monkeys (apes, chimps, gorillas) were all out and pretty playful. Thomas enjoyed watching them. We were
able to see the elephants painting (from a distance - by the time we really got over there, they were done painting). There was a fish exhibit that Thomas liked...he said "ishh" over and over while we were in there. At the end we rode a train from one end of the zoo back to the beginning. Thomas enjoyed the "choo choo" ride! Then we headed home. Boy was Thomas tired. He slept most of the way home. Saturday night we just laid around the house mostly. We did go for a short walk around the neighborhood. Thomas loves being outside to look around. (more pics at the bottom) Sunday we went to church. Brian had to take a kid to downtown Dallas Sunday afternoon b/c she was shipping out to boot camp today - poor kid (just kidding!). So, Thomas and I had a good afternoon together. Well, after we ate, he slept and I mowed the yard, so I guess we really didn't do too much together! Last night Brian and I went to our second Financial Peace University! It is a great class, but a little overwhelming. We come home on info overload, but pretty motivated! If you want any info on it for yourself, go to http://www.daveramsey.com/.
Today Brian is at work of course. Thomas and I are going to work on cleaning in the house (it is just never ending!). We have a few errands to run (like getting some bigger or more absorbent diapers for night time so Thomas won't wet the bed every night!).
Finally, a Hey to Amy and Paul! My sister and her husband are in Paris (yes, the real one in France!). They are there for Paul to do some research for his dissertation for his Doctorate. He is writing his dissertation on this composer (D'Indy) and some of his works of music are only housed in a library in Paris. How cool is that!?! Amy walked up some of the steps of the Eiffel Tower the other day. Today she was heading to the Louvre. They have done so many cool things! Sure wish I was there too. Anyway...just wanted to tell them Hi for if and when they have time to check my page!
So, now you are updated on us! Hope you had a great weekend and that you have a great Holy Week!

I **Love** the Ft. Worth Zoo! Makes me think of all the times I went as a kid. I can't tell you how many field trips in elementary school were to that zoo. Thomas looks beautiful as always!
Looks like you had a good time! It sure was a pretty day to go to the zoo!
