So this past Friday was my Grandmother's 90th Birthday! In honor of her birthday, the fam got together this weekend to celebrate. Amy and Paul flew in from Georgia on Friday night. When I got off work, I headed over to my parent's house to meet up with everyone else that was already there.
Saturday morning we had a family portrait made (which is what Grandmother wanted for her birthday). It was fun to take pics of the entire family. Thomas did great of course. He was very tired by the end of the pictures! After pictures, we went to mom's house for lunch and then just hung out. I went with Mom, Amy, and Paul to look at some baby stuff for Amy and Paul (Amy is now 15 weeks pregnant). Then Saturday night we went to Cafe Express (one of Amy and Paul's favorite places to eat). Today we went to Spring Creek for lunch with the family again and then took Amy and Paul to the airport (their flight left at 2pm). Then Thomas and I went back to my parent's house for a much needed afternoon nap!!
This evening Thomas and I went to meet Brian's parents for dinner. It was fun! I love my in-laws and Thomas sure does love his Nana and JPa! After we ate dinner, JPa (and Nana) took me and Thomas to Walmart to buy Thomas a DVD player for the car. After fiddlin' with it to get it in the car so Thomas could watch a movie, we headed back to our side of town. Thomas loved being able to watch Baby Faith in the car (and he was so good on the ride home!).
Now I am getting ready to head to bed. Its late and I have a full day of work in front of me tomorrow! Here are some pics of the family from the photo shoot this weekend.
