In September, Thomas started a little program called Soccer Tots. It is this cute little program that begins to teach toddlers soccer skills. Thomas is loving it. He goes every Saturday morning for an hour. He now wakes up on Saturday mornings and asks me if we are going to soccer. Alot of times during the week when he sees me putting on my tennis shoes, he will ask me if I am going to soccer! This program is so neat! The main skill Thomas is learning is to listen to his coach (yes, they really have a coach!). We struggle with this from week to week, but compared to some of the other kiddos, I think he does REALLY well. He is doing obstacle courses, play games of chase, pop bubbles, and kick the ball to the goal. He is learning to take turns and to help his friends. I think it is such a great little program! He even has a soccer tots shirt now! I will have to take his picture in it to post (don't have one yet!). So, here are some pictures of Thomas at Soccer Tots! (Sorry the pics aren't so great...the place where we go is too bright for a flash and not bright enough for no flash!)
