Sunday morning we all got up and headed to church at First Norfolk. Ahh..the memories that flooded my mind! I was blessed to run into a few friends while there. It was fun to quickly catch up with them. I went to SS with Bill and Mary. At the end of their class, everyone gathered around and prayed for those of us in the class heading out on missions (us to India, another guy to China, another to Peru...). Then in the 11am service, the minister to missions called the 3 teams that are leaving this week to come stand at the front of the church for commissioning. There are 3 teams heading out this week from First Norfolk - one to Peru, one to Uruguay, and our team to India. Wow!! He prayed a great pray over us. Then we were able to take our first picture with the entire team together!

Sunday for lunch we went to a restaurant called Texas Steakhouse. We all had a good laugh that I came to visit Virginia from Texas, but we ate at a Texas steakhouse! It was delicious and since it was Father's Day, it was just what Bill wanted. After lunch we headed home for Bill and I to start sorting medical supplies for the trip. After a full day, we decided that taking Baylee for a walk back to Tini's (frozen yogurt) was the best way to end the evening. We sat outside in the cool breeze (with our jackets on) and enjoyed our yogurt (even Baylee!). Then we headed home and everyone headed to bed early since we knew this would be a busy week!
