"The women of India bring color to an otherwise bleak society" - Ellen Park

Today we drove about an hour and a half outside of Kolkata to a fishing village to conduct another medical clinic.  When we arrived, several of us were quickly taken out of our comfort zone as we braved the "restroom".  I'm happy to report we all survived!  Then we were able to get down to business of clinic.  Prior to actually starting clinic, Bill shared his testimony to the crowd waiting.  Then we spent the next 6 hours seeing patients and interacting with the villagers.  The villagers were so kind and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with each patient I saw.  At this clinic, I had the chance to pray over a woman who had recently given birth.  She had some health concerns that I hope I was able to alleviate by answering her questions and by praying over her.  I love seeing out team come together for each clinic!  God truly was involved in putting this team together!

On the way home from the village, we stopped at a fish market. Bill was able to share his testimony again here and we were able to hand out tracts to those who listened. It was amazing to see more and more people try to push in to hear the Good News!

After we finished clinic, we headed back into the main city for a time of fellowship with other Americans in the city.  After dinner (pizza, fresh veggies, and cake for dessert), we sang praise songs and had a sweet time of prayer.

           A great time of fellowship!!

My thought as I go to sleep tonight... "How deep the Father's love for us.  how vast beyond all measure.  That He should give His only son, to make a wretch His treasure!...  Why should I gain from His reward?  I can not give an answer!  But this I know with all my heart, His wounds have paid my ransom!!"
